I love these suggestions! Our little boy has had miserable bleeding itchy eczema too since he was a baby and nothing seemed to work! We took him to several doctors, allergists etc who all did their own forms of testing and still nothing. They all told us something different and not one thing made any difference for him. We have found our miracle in a children's chewable probiotic from Belly Boost that has been amazing. It began to make a difference within a few weeks and has been awesome for his ski for over a year now. He no longer itches until he bleeds and his skin looks so clear - honestly I feel like God heard our prayers. I have read how probiotics are helping others too and don't know if this might help your daughter too. We use baking soda and olive oil on his skin for moisture bc we too tried everything and it all irritated and burned his sensitive skin - except the natural oil. My blog is smilinggreenmom.com if you want to stop by!

Thanks for the great information on home remedies for eczema. I have also read somewhere that flaxseed and safflower oil can also have possitive effects on eczema. Consuming these could also be considered "home remedies." Thanks again.

Great advice on natural remedies for eczema. Don't overlook the role of probiotics (such as Yakult) - they can help suppress the growth of harmful bacteria inside our bodies which helps prevent the eczema occuring.
